Pricing
Notary fees are set by Maryland law and we charge the statutory maximum, not a dollar over. Everything else is quoted in writing before any work starts. No administrative fees, no document handling fees, no after-hours surcharges.
01 · Notarial acts
These aren't our rates — they're the statutory maximums under COMAR 01.02.08.02. Any notary charging more than this is charging more than the law allows.

03 · HR consulting
Employee relations problems don't fit a menu. Start with a call, or put us on retainer so there's someone to reach before the next thing becomes a problem.
Triage & immediate help
$50 45 minutes
You describe what happened. We tell you how serious it actually is, what your obligations are, and what to do in the next 48 hours. If the work goes further than that, we scope and price it before you commit to anything.
Monthly retainer
From $2,500 per month
HR services included. Investigations, terminations, offer letters, handbooks, policy, and Maryland compliance — plus someone to call before you act, not after. Built for businesses with no HR department and no plans to build one.
What it actually comes to
Pricing tables are abstract until you see one added up. These are the shapes most of our work takes.
A family, Towson
"My mother's in assisted living and needs a POA, an advance directive, and a HIPAA release. My brother's in Phoenix and has to sign too."
One visit, one video session, everyone signed. No flights, no mailing originals.
A property manager, Dundalk
"I need occupancy verified on four units before we file, and I need it this week."
$41.25 per property. Booked separately on four days it would have been $300.
An out-of-state daughter, Catonsville
"Dad's in rehab and the house is empty. I'm in Denver and I have no idea what's going on over there."
Full photo set the same day. Quoted lower as a standing monthly check.
04 · Common questions
Because Maryland sets it. The state caps what a notary may charge per act and for travel. We publish the full schedule so you can see we're charging the maximum allowed and nothing beyond it.
Per signature. Each notarial act is a separate certificate with its own journal entry. One document signed by two people is two acts. We'll count them in your estimate before we schedule.
Card at the appointment, or invoiced in advance. Receipts are emailed immediately. Business clients can be set up for monthly invoicing.
Zones are measured by driving distance from downtown Baltimore. Give us the address and we'll tell you the zone and the total before we book — it never changes afterward.
Real estate closings, settlements, and mortgage loan signings — those require a Maryland Title Insurance Producer license, which is separate from a notary commission. We're glad to refer you to a licensed TIPIC.
